Wow! Check out our journal pages. Everyone is going to have such a fun keepsake journal when we are finished.
Have you ever embellished stick pins? That's what we did for our swap this cycle and it was fun.
Look at what we made!
Elena made each of us this charming stick pin holder.
It was so thoughtful because now we have a home for our beautiful stick pins.
Some of the ladies went an extra step and added tags and ATC's as a further embellishment to their stick pins.
This beautiful canvas clutch was created by Susie.
The outside is canvas and the lining is a matching cotton fabric, which she said she found by accident after the canvas was painted. Couldn't be any more perfect.
The colors in this clutch are gorgeous. Susie does all the painting on her bags, as well as the lining and button embellishments. We can't wait for her to start selling them.
Here's Judy sharing her circle journal page.
Wendy and Cynthia chatting during break. Do they look like they're having fun? Wendy came as Elena's guest. We hope she joins us.
Fern, Alma and Kathren.
Alma made those cute slippers.
Alicia embellished this antique silver tray with collage, and donated it to the Charity Wings for Japan raffle. There is still time to purchase tickets and/or donate art to this charitable cause. The raffle drawing will be held at the crop at the Del Mar Scrapbook Expo on Saturday, April 30th.
I tried to sneak a pic of Terri, Gaye and Debby, but they all caught me in the act.
Danette looking pretty!
Kathren and Alicia trying to make sense of it all. Ha
Kathren thinks her children are beautiful and we all agree! Using watercolor paper, she stamped, colored, embellished and Deco Podged this fabulous frame. The pictures are perfect for her art project.
Alicia thinks her kids are pretty incredible too, and again, we agree! Here is her version of the same frame. Using paper collage, she created the perfect frame for these black and white pics of her gorgeous kids.
This beautifully embellished frame is Fern's rendition of the same frame. The glass frame came in our kit last month and these wonderfully creative ladies had no problem turning it into beautiful art.
Here is Debby's edition of the frame. She collaged adorable miniature pictures and added doodling with a Pearl Pen by Viva Décor.
Many of us started out as scrapbookers. Fern never lets us forget about scrapbooking. Every month she produces delightful scrapbooked pages.
Here they are! Alma's homemade slippers. They look so soft and comfy.
Danette created this exquisite baby book. What a lucky baby! This will be cherished for years to come.
A little "button therapy".
Our kit included a package of colorful buttons, and Elena taught us how to make button stacks. This cycle our swap is to make twelve button stacks. We will swap the stacks and each of us will have twelve different dangles to put on a bracelet.
Alma has been busy making greeting cards and note cards. In her spare time, she's been working the resin and made these beautiful pendants.
Gaye plans to keep interesting, family stories alive by adding them to her journal. For even more appeal, she's included authentic pictures of her ancestors.
She has really taken the theme of our book, Stories in Hand, to heart and created something that will give pleasure for generations to come.
Our kit this month included papers from the new Bo Bunny Gabrielle Romance collection, a bottle of Boutique Fleur Mini Teardrop Gems, a bottle of Melissa Frances Glass Glitter and a pot of buttons.
Thank you Cynthia for giving each of us a cute Easter egg filled with charms, and a Robot ATC that we can color and embellish. Bring your ATC next month to share.
