CSS Book Club

We are still working on our Circle Journals and loving them.  View the slide show to see some of the amazing journal pages these ladies made for each other this month.

PamArt at the Speed of Life by Pam Carriker is our book for this cycle.  We were surprised by a visit from Pam herself via Skype.  She spent about 30 minutes with us discussing the book and some of her favorite art tools.

Creating Outside the Book Crop

We had an exceptionally successful and fun Book Club Crop at Cool Scrapbook Stuff in Poway.  Everyone came armed with a mission.  Some of us worked on unfinished endeavors, and others worked on projects with a deadline.

The smiling ladies in the photo above are all working together on the Make and Take that Elena provided.

We love our crops because we don't just work.  We spend time with each other.  With three major stores in the same strip mall, we shop...a lot.  We eat great food that each other has brought.  We bring guests that always just seem to blend right in with our fabulous group.

Checking out which little baby to cut out.  Some of them were cute and some were a bit devilish, making it a hard choice.

Did we have food?  Oh yes!!

Tons of food and it was delicious!

Forgot to take the pics when the food first arrived.  You can see that we didn't waste any.

And, here are our adorable, finished

Make and Takes.

Everyone had lots of fun with this project.

They are a little keepsake to take home as a reminder of a wonderful day with friends.

Thank you Elena.
