Cool Scrapbook Stuff Book Club

We have some exceptionally talented ladies in Book Club.  Here is just a small example of what we see regularly from these fabulous ladies.

Alicia made this adorable Valentines holder from our Book Club kit.

Tricia created this fabulous dimensional heart.  Yes, shredded paper is one of the embellishments. 

Tricia made this adorable heart charm with pearls.  We see a Make and Take in the future!

Yep!  Tricia again!  This is her beautiful “story board” canvas reminding her daily that she is working towards a goal. 

 

Kathren is on an owl kick and we are in love with her vintage fabric owl.  She always likes to use the kit from the previous month.

Cynthia got her paint brushes out this month and created this incredible canvas.  The heart is dimensional.  There are several layers of book paper and each page is painted.  Gorgeous!

 

Cynthia also made this bees was collage.  It’s as cute as a bee’s knees!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kat took a class with Julie Nutting and created these cutie girl paper doll tags.

Book Club Crop–January 2012

We had a blast on Crop day.  This is a very comfortable group of ladies to spend time with.  Everyone does their own thing, whether it’s cropping, crafting, shopping, eating, or socializing.  It’s just a fun day.

Gee Gee’s Book Club–New Year

We are still swapping our canvases.  I wish you could see them in person because they are really awesome!  Everyone is adding their own personality to each other’s canvas. 

 

 

This was our cute Make and Take.  Allyson’s flower turned out the way it was suppose to look.  Some of us definitely struggled.  A little practice would help.

 

Our kit this month included a fabulous, very vintage album book.  Everyone’s book of albums was different.  It will be so interesting to see how these books are altered by our wonderfully talented ladies.  We also received Gilded Mica Fragments by Stampendous, 3D Crystal Lacquer by Sukura Hobby Craft, and family oriented rub-ons.

• Tool kit, including scissors, glue, a pen or pencil.
• A snack to share

• February is the 2nd month of a 4-month cycle and the meeting is Thursday, February 2nd, at 6:30, at Gee Gee's Stamp 'n' Stuff.
• Bottle Cap Charm Swap is due at the April meeting.  Make 14 Bottle Cap Charms with a hole and jump ring attached.
